night, 4 day tour in the Finger Lakes

Day 1
Late afternoon
arrival at our hotel. Meet tour guide, review
itinerary, baggage
service, welcome reception and dinner.
Day 2
Fortified by a
hearty breakfast, we’ll visit the Corning Museum of Glass to
see live glassblowing demonstrations, stunning galleries and interactive
exhibits. We can also make a glass suncatcher-subject to availability.
Free time on Market Street to shop, browse and lunch on own.
We’ll next visit
the Rockwell Museum of Western Art to experience one of the
finest collections of American western and Native American art. Tour and
tasting at Pleasant Valley Winery follow. Dinner.
Day 3
After breakfast,
we’ll spend the morning in the 1800s at
Genesee Country Village & Museum-one
of the largest living history museums in the United States. We can
explore 68 historic structures and meet dozens of costumed interpreters as
they bring the past to life. Lunch on own.
We’ll next tour
the George Eastman House-where
photography lives. The historic home, gardens, changing exhibitions of
photography and film are to be enjoyed. Shopping and dinner on own at
Eastview Mall-home to five major department stores and 180
specialty stores.
Day 4
After breakfast,
we’ll journey to
Taughannock State Park
to view the
spectacular waterfalls with a 215’ drop-33 feet higher than
Niagara.
Buckle up! We’ll next take our motorcoach for a memorable 3 laps
around the Watkins
Glen road racing circuit.
Free time to antique, shop, eat or learn about road racing in
Watkins Glen.
Tour and tasting at Glenora Winery. Dinner.
Day 5
Breakfast, baggage
service and departure. |
