DAY 1 Arrive to a warm welcome at your inn at the base of Mt. Snow; subject to availability. Wine Punch & Cheese Reception A delicious dinner awaits you. Enjoy an evening of Vermont Folk Music at your inn
DAY 2
Wake up to a hearty Vermont breakfast. Board the coach for a morning of touring that includes the 1836 Country Store Complex and a cruise aboard the Mountain Mills on Lake Whitingham viewing our beautiful unspoiled lake and mountain scenery. Following lunch on your own, we visit the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum, have a maple products tour and have time to browse in our quaint little village of Wilmington. Time for another great dinner. This evening's entertainment is live dramatization of 18th century life by the Vermont Living History Association.
DAY 3
Another hearty Vermont
breakfast. We depart for a leisurely drive through the Mt. Snow Ski Area, a tour of the Mary Myers Toy Shoppe to learn how those cuddly stuffed animals are made, a drive over Townshend Dam and a stop at picturesque Scott Covered Bridge. Following lunch on your own, comes a tour of the Hildene Estate, the former summer home of Robert Todd Lincoln, Abraham's son. The Hildene is situated on 412 acres of rolling hills with spectacular views and formal gardens. A super supper awaits you. Depart for an evening of music, fun & entertainment with Summer Squash at a local theater!!
DAY 4 Bon Voyage breakfast. Depart for Home Sweet Home. |
